Transfusion medicine

Our central laboratory with its highly modern automated equipment guarantees top level results within a short space of time 24 hours a day. We also offer a special coagulation course for patients taking coagulative medication.

Coagulation training

More than half a million people in Germany have to take coagulative medication on a regular basis. If patients are able to fix the coagulation levels themselves, strain on themselves is reduced and their quality of life is increased. Our training courses teach patients to manage coagulative self-determination.

Advantages of the patients being in control:

  • Measuring yourself leads to fewer variations in the coagulation levels and reduces the risk of complications (haemorrhage and thrombosis).
  • Taking a small amount of blood from the finger leaves the veins untouched and reduces the number of visits to the doctor. This creates greater independence, mobility and quality of life.
  • The available and clinically tested coagulation monitors are handy, portable and easy to use.
