    The cardiology unit has 105 beds for in-patients and is one of the largest centers for cardiovascular conditions in Germany. 
  • Heart SurgeryHeart Surgery
    The number of heart operations at the Kerckhoff Clinic has increased steadily since 1988. Today, more than 2,500 operations per year are performed with the heart-lung machine. 
  • Thoracic Surgery Thoracic Surgery
    This division enables us to offer a range of health care services that significantly improves the quality of health care for patients in the whole region. 
  • RheumatologyRheumatology
    The Unit for Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology has 49 beds and is one of the largest rheumatology centers in Germany. 
  • Radiology

    In the Kerckhoff Clinic we have the whole range of diagnostic equipment like ultra sound scan, x-ray, scintigraphy, computer tomography (CT) magnet resonance tomography (MRI) and also a PET/CT with TruFlight technology.

  • Transfusion medicine

    Our central laboratory with its highly modern automated equipment guarantees top level results within a short space of time 24 hours a day. We also offer a special coagulation course for patients taking coagulative medication.

  • Anaesthesiology

    Our anaesthetists aided by modern and reliable monitoring, guarantee a careful start to the operation as well as supervising the anaesthetic during surgery. Specially developed techniques enable the patient to recover more quickly after surgery.
